The Story of the storied diamond
Jared’s first-ever, fully traceable mine to market natural diamond. It comes at a diamond when the natural diamond industry sorely needs it. When the industry, once and for all, needs to debunk the continued misconceptions of “blood diamonds” and showcase the positive affects these rare and precious resources have on the livelihoods of the tens of thousands in Botswana who depend on them for prosperity. With new technology, Jared is able to trace the diamond rough from the specific mine in Jwaneng, Botswana to the planning and cutting facility in Gaborone (the country’s capitol). From their, the polished center stone is traced to a design center in India where is set and finished, then shipped to a Jared retailer. Never before, has a consumer been able to trace the origin of a stone with this detail.
